to obtain a full procurement quotation?
A PCB drawing or sample, along
with a comprehensive BOM, is the minimum required.
It should be noted that the less information we
have, the longer the quotation lead time, and
the quoted cost may change.
2. What information is ideally required
to obtain a full procurement quotation?
Gerber files for the PCB plus
any related profile information, drill files,
mechanical drawings and specifications. We would
also require a full BOM which must include a full
description of each item as well as voltage, tolerance
and the preferred or stipulated manufacturers.
In addition details of test or copies of test
specifications are recommended.
